BHARATH MURTHY writes and draws comics. The Vanished Path: A Graphic Travelogue (HarperCollins India, 2015) is his first book-length comic as author. He is editor and publisher under the Comix India label. In 2017, he co-founded Indie Comix Fest, an annual festival of self-published comics. As a filmmaker, he has made documentaries and animated sequences. He has also taught at Film & Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune and Srishti Manipal Institute (SMI), Bangalore, where he started an MA in Comics & Graphic Literature. He writes for newspapers and periodicals on comics and related subjects. 

He is currently working on a book-length comic about M.K.Gandhi.
